What Is Boomsloping?
Boomsloping is the South African term for cutting down and clearing unwanted bush, thick vegetation and smaller trees from a property.
It is heavier work than normal garden maintenance. Think of it as a reset for land that has been left to grow wild, from dense scrub and tall weeds to invasive plants and dead growth.

Your Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between boomsloping and tree felling?
Tree felling takes down individual, usually large, trees. Boomsloping clears an area of bush, scrub and smaller trees. Many jobs need both, and we can do it all in one visit.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of the area and how dense the bush is. A small plot may take a day, while larger or thicker areas take longer. We give you an estimate when we quote.
Do I have to clear everything?
No. We can clear the whole area or only selected parts. Tell us what to keep, such as healthy mature trees, and we will work around it.
What happens to the cut vegetation?
We can pile it, chip it for mulch or remove it from site, whichever you prefer.
Will the bush grow back?
Some of it will, especially fast-growing weeds and invasive plants. Regular maintenance keeps it under control.
Can you clear next to buildings, fences and walls?
Yes. We work carefully around structures. Let us know what is on your property when you request a quote.
